Angie Harmon is an American actress and model, who has appeared in number of films and TV series through the years. In the beginning, she was an established model, and later after becoming famous internationally, she decided to make her foray into acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred on the television show 'Baywatch Nights. Harmon also has done voice acting and has contributed her voice to an animated version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon stopped appearing in TV shows and focused on movies at the beginning of 2000. In the early 2000s the actress returned to television series following a brief time on film. She was one of the only actresses to discreetly appear naked in the The magazine "Allure," in the year 2008. She is best known for her part as Detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles.' Her role as a police detective was well-respected and she won several prizes. Angie Harmon was nominated over the past few years for her exceptional performances, but did not win any awards.
